Barry Gitzel graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1976. Barry has been in public practice since 1976 and received his Chartered Accountants designation in 1979. Barry joined the firm of Gitzel Krejci & Co in 1976 and became a partner in 1980. Barry has been extensively involved in tax planning, accounting, auditing and compliance services. Barry specializes in agri-business, estate planning, taxation and Rural Gas Co-op accounting and auditing.
Jolene Kobi, B. Comm., C.A.
Jolene Kobi completed a co-operative education placement with the firm from January to August 2002 and has held a permanent position with the firm since May of 2003. Jolene graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction. In 2005 she earned her Chartered Accountant designation. As a senior accountant, Jolene is involved in the provision of not-for-profit assurance services, the preparation of financial statements, as well as the provision of tax services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Eric A. Peterson, B.A., C.A.
Eric Peterson graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973. He has been in public practice since 1973 and received his Chartered Accountants designation in 1978. Eric joined the firm of Gitzel Krejci & Co in 1982 and became a partner in 1984. Eric has been extensively involved in auditing, tax planning, accounting and compliance services. Eric's primary focus of practice is auditing, as well as tax planning and accounting services for the Owner-Managed Business.
Scott St. Arnaud, B. Comm., C.A.
Scott St. Arnaud has been with the firm since January of 2001. In 2000 Scott graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In 2003 he achieved his Chartered Accountant designation. As a senior accountant, Scott is involved in the provision of not-for-profit assurance services, the preparation of financial statements, as well as the provision of tax services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Peggy Weinzierl, B. Comm., C.A.
Peggy joined the firm in 1995 and became a partner in 2001. Previously, Peggy instructed at Red Deer College for 11 years in accounting, taxation and computer applications. Peggy focuses on Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients and financial audits in the government sector.

Robert J. Krejci, C.A.
Robert Krejci is the senior partner of Gitzel Krejci Dand Peterson. He has been in public practice since 1958 and received his Chartered Accountants designation in 1963. Robert joined the firm of Gitzel Krejci & Co in 1966 and became a partner in 1971. Robert has been extensively involved in tax planning, accounting, auditing and compliance services. Robert's primary focus of practice is income tax, reorganizations and estate planning for Owner-Managed Businesses with the largest concentration in the agri-business industry.

Karen Gust
Karen obtained an Accounting and Finance diploma (with honours) from N.A.I.T. and has been with the firm since 1992. As part of the senior team, Karen prepares financial statements and also provides tax and financial services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Bruce LaRocque
Bruce obtained an Accounting and Finance diploma from N.A.I.T. and has been with the firm since 1977. As a supervisor, Bruce provides consulting for computer accounting software (New Views,M.Y.O.B.) and focuses on Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Sheryl Osterud
Sheryl earned a Business Administration diploma from Red Deer College and has been with the firm since 1990. As a senior accountant, Sheryl provides tax and financial services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Rod Schulze
Rod earned a Business Administration diploma from Lethbridge College and has been with the firm since 1975. Currently a supervisor, Rod provides tax and financial services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Justin Tanner, B. Mgt., C.A.
Justin graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Management degree in 2005. Upon graduation he took a position with the firm and began articling towards his Chartered Accountant designation, which he received in 2007. As a senior accountant, Justin is involved in the provision of not-for-profit assurance services, the preparation of financial statements, as well as the provision of tax services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
Arnie Walstrom, C.G.A
Arnie joined the firm in 1989. He earned a Business Administration diploma from Red Deer College in 1986 and received his Certified General Accountant designation in 1999. Presently a senior accountant, Arnie provides tax and financial services to our Agri-Business and Owner-Managed business clients.
